At the Old Bike Rally (written in the mid-’90s) • I rode my new Yamaha down to the Classic and Antique Motorcycle Rally at Tulare. I couldn’t get away from work until 4pm Saturday, so didn’t pull into Tulare (it’s down by Bakersfield) until 9:30 at night and the show proper was over and lots of people had already gone home.
