(Since publication in 1886, Cuore has always been popular, and has more than 100 editions of translation. It is a love classic that is worth reading by both children and adults.
Cuore consists of three parts: the protagonist Enrico's diary, letters to the protagonist from his father, mother and sister and "monthly story" the teacher asks students to copy.
