Not Easily Broken

Clarice and Dave Johnson are a married couple struggling to overcome physical trauma, personal disappointments, and unrealized expectations. They also have differing opinions on what it means to be successful and live a meaningful life: Clarice, a designer-label, luxury-car kind of woman, is driven by her quest to climb the social ladder; Dave, who feels at home in his blue jeans and pick-up truck, is satisfied coaching little league and running a janitorial service. But after Clarice sustains injuries in a car accident, the constant presence of her physical therapist, Julie, creates strife that quickly moves the Johnson's marriage into crisis mode. Now, Clarice and Dave struggle to find resolution as they learn the importance of promises made and kept—and discover that help sometimes comes from unlikely places.
